Hydromat

Description:

The Hydromat is of welded steel construction. The base contains the oil tank, hydraulic drive and control gears. The upper section contains the knife holders, main press and hydraulic pistons. The front knife runs on ball bearings. The side knives run in hardened double-column steel guides. A special feature of the machine is the optimal cutting angle of the knives which results in a constant cutting force and in extremely long service. The trimming table is made up of ground steel blocks. The square profile of the plastic cutting sticks ensures a max. trimming effect ( 4 sides ). The electrical switch gear, main connection and tool box are housed in a fully enclosed panel located under the working table.

Mode of operation
Both Hydromat models function automatically. The material to be cut only has to be inserted manually, the machine will automatically complete the operation. After manual insertion, the following sequence of operations occurs automatically:
Pre-pressing – Feed-in – Pressing – Trimming – Delivery.
If necessary, the working cycles can be individually controlled. The feed-in time can be regulated by means of a time relay. Thus the insertion speed can be adapted to the material to be cut. The feed gauge grips the material firmly when it is inserted under the press and prevents if from being displaced. The trimmed material will be ejected onto the conveyor belt.
